iNewFinds (https://inewfinds.com) is operated by Digital Nomad Global Inc, a company based in Canada (“iNewFinds”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using this website, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Orders: when you buy from our store, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and the items you ordered, so we can fulfil your order. Payment is processed by Stripe or PayPal — your full card number goes directly to them and is never sent to or stored on our website.
  • Accounts: if you create an account, we store your name, email address and order history. Your password is stored in encrypted (hashed) form.
  • Newsletter: if you subscribe, we collect your email address. Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • Contact messages: when you contact us through a form or by email, we collect your name, email address and the contents of your message.
  • Reviews and comments: if you leave a product review, we collect the name and content you submit.

Information collected automatically

  • Log and device data: like most websites, our servers record your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring page, and the dates and times of your visit.
  • Approximate location: we use your IP address to estimate your country so the shop can show prices in US or Canadian dollars by default. You can change the currency at any time, and we do not track your precise location.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 5 below.
  • Analytics: we use Google Analytics, delivered through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which guides and products are popular). This data is collected in aggregate form.

  • To process payments, fulfil and deliver orders, and provide order tracking.
  • To respond to your questions and provide customer support, including returns and refunds under our Return & Refund Policy.
  • To send our newsletter and offers, only if you subscribed, and always with an unsubscribe option.
  • To understand and improve our content, products and website performance.
  • To protect the website against fraud, abuse and security threats.
  • To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.

3. Who We Share Information With

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to run the site and fulfil orders:

  • Payment processors: Stripe and PayPal process your payment under their own privacy policies.
  • Fulfilment partners and carriers: to deliver your order, we pass your name, shipping address and order details to the warehouse or supplier partner fulfilling it (including CJ Dropshipping) and to the delivery carrier.
  • Service providers: companies that provide hosting, analytics (Google), email delivery and security services for the website, under their own privacy policies.
  • Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law, court order or a lawful government request, or to protect the rights, property or safety of iNewFinds, our customers or the public.
  • Business transfers: if our business is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new operator, subject to this policy.

4. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Websites

Our guides and reviews contain affiliate links to third-party brands and retailers. When you click one, you leave our website, and the destination site may use cookies — including cookies set by affiliate networks such as Awin, Impact and CJ Affiliate — to attribute a purchase to our referral. Those websites are governed by their own privacy policies, which we do not control. Purchases made on third-party sites are between you and that seller.

5. Cookies

  • Essential cookies keep the store working: your cart, checkout, account sign-in and security. The site cannot function properly without them.
  • Functional cookies remember your choices, such as currency (USD/CAD) and your wishlist.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) help us measure traffic and improve the site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will break checkout and account features. We do not use cookies to serve third-party advertising, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

6. How Long We Keep Information

We keep order records for as long as needed for tax, accounting and warranty purposes (generally seven years). Account information is kept until you ask us to delete your account. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept while needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Analytics data is retained in accordance with Google Analytics settings.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live (including under Canadian privacy law and US state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Ask us to delete your personal information, subject to records we must keep by law.
  • Withdraw consent to marketing at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@inewfinds.com. We respond within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

8. Security

The website runs over HTTPS, payments are handled by PCI-compliant processors (Stripe and PayPal), and access to customer data is restricted. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information.

9. Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and purchases may only be made by persons who have reached the age of majority in their place of residence. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Transfers

We are based in Canada and sell to customers in Canada and the United States. Our service providers may process information in Canada, the United States or other countries, where it may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised, and the current version always applies.
